§A Myskja and Manni/Máni had these monuments raised in memory of their brother Hróðgeirr and their father Holmsteinn.
§B He had long been in the west; died in the east with Ingvarr.

Myskja and Manni/Máni also had the rune stone that is standing next to it made. This is one of many Ingvarr-stones. There was some expedition to the east lead by Ingvar, and he and the rest of the crew was killed. There were many memorial stones raised both in Sörmland and Uppland after them.
