The gold horns from Gallehus
These are not the original horns. They were stolen from another museum back in 1802, and melted down. Fortunately there were some sketches made before they were stolen, so that they could be reconstructed.... The are believed to date from the 5th century. Hlewagastir from Holte made the horn.
