For about 15 years I have taken a lot of photos of  'ancient monuments' in Sweden and abroad. This is an attempt to bring things together. These pages deal with things to see in the province of Västra Götaland, in west Sweden. Runes and ruins ! There are photos of graves from the Stone Age ( passage graves - megalith tombs - from Karleby and Falköping, among other things ), the Bronze Age and the Iron Age, a lot of rune stones from the time of the vikings + some photos of rock carvings. There may be factual errors in the text - I´m not very good with facts, but I´ve done my best.... remember, that I´m above all a photographer !!! (that was the first factual error :  I´m not a professional one ....)
