Coastal cairns |
These Bronze Age cairns, situated high up on the hilltops,
are common along the coasts and on the islands.... The first one is on
the island of Skaftö. |
North of Skaftö is Småholmarna,
and on its highest point you´ll find this cairn. |
This is the cairn on Söö, just west of
Hunnebostrand. It´s the same name as Soay, which you´ll find
for instance in Scotland, and it means sheep-island. |
Well, as you can see they look pretty much the same....
