Þórðr and Tóki raised this stone in memory of Bysja, their father. He died on the cargo-ship.
The rune stone is standing some 300 meters from the lake that you see in the background, but I suppose that the "knerri" (the cargo-ship) was crossing the Baltic sea, which is only 15 km from where the rune stone is standing.
