A birthday present or a Christmas gift ? No, this is a rune stone covered in clay and wrapped up with plastic, so that the moss and lichen will suffocate. When they remove the cover, they can easily rinse it all off with water. It's a gentle way to clean the stone. I'll be back some other time for a photo of the runes.
