"God bless you Priest. Odd came to me to order ( this and that much ) salt for ( this and that much ) money, and Tore Ovhard owns that salt. There was no salt scale at my house. You can trust this payment on my honour. I've paid them, and I will send you the salt as soon as I get the salt scale, and as a guarantee I enclose three hides (to write on). And write me to tell me how...."
