This fibula dates from around 400-500 AD. The inscription is on the back of the fibula, and it starts with an almost complete futhark. The translation of the runes on the informationsign suggests : May Liano discover / get to know Idda. That's quite a difference from the earliest translation, which said : Uth made this brooch for Iddæ. This is another photo that I got from my friend Ogneslav. Thanks !
