This tall stone is standing next to the bridge between Loch of Stenness and Loch of Harray. 100 metres to the right of where I took the photo is Barnhouse neolithic village. 100 metres behind me is Stones of Stenness. Point at the photo and you'll see the house to the left, with two standing stones in its garden. Behind that house there's an extensive excavation going on.
