There are so many Stone Age monuments in the region around Carnac, and in Locmariaquer are some of the finest ones. |

Clockwise, starting with the big picture is : 1) Dolmen des Pierres Plates, with some strange torso carvings on its walls, 2) Dolmen de la Table des Merchands - in two phases of its restoration, 3) Le grand menhir brisé - a stone that used to stand 20 metres tall, weighing about 350 tons ! Now it's lying on the ground in four pieces.... 4) Dolmen de Mané Rutal, with its long passage.... 5) Dolmen de Kercadoret, situated just north of the village. There's also Tumulus du Mané Lud and Tumulus de Mané-Er-Hroëck.
