Alignements de Kerzérho
The photo below is from my very first visit to the Carnac-area. I had heard about the stone rows, and climbed up on one of the stones to get a better view and better photo. It was getting dark, and I had to make this old slide much brighter in order to use it here. |
These stone rows are situated about 1 km southeast of Erdeven and 7 km northwest of Carnac. The photos below are from some other year. |
The french wikipedia-page says that there are 165 stones still in place, but there used to be about 1100 there.
These two tall menhirs are called the géants de Kerzhéro. Only 5 km further south is Plouharnel, with more things to see.
