Borre
There are seven large burial mounds and one cairn here at Borre, just south of Horten. They date from around 850-900 AD. South of the mounds there are some 30 barrows.

This is a very impressive and beautiful site. First you could enter the visitor center to get information about the site, and then get back there again for a cup of coffee. Oh, the rune stone on one of the pictures is a modern one....
