These petroglyphs were carved on kerbstones around a Bronze Age cairn in Sagaholm, just south of Jönköping. They are now at Jönköpings county museum. On Ireland you'll find decorated kerbstones around Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth, but those are Stone Age graves. Kungagraven in Kivik (in Skåne, Sweden) has decorated slabs inside the grave, with the pictures turned towards the centre of the grave. |
