Jumpin' to conclusions....

This little man was found in Kymbo - less than 15 kilometres south-east of Ålleberg. What´s striking with it, is that it's wearing a goldcollar - the man himself is made of silver. I know - it doesn´t wear a three-ringed collar.... but there is another interesting thing about it : if you look closely you can see that his toes are pointing down.... like he is standing on his toes - or if he is hanged (his legs are a bit apart and his arms are close to his body)....
There is a story about a man that got hanged in his goldcollar in the Icelandic story Ynglingatal : He went off to the land of king Froste, killed him and stole his daughter. At home he wanted to marry her, but she insisted that they had a funeralfeast for her father first. They did, and this kidnapper (and everybody else) got very drunk, and while he was asleep the woman got a rope that she tied to his goldcollar, and hung him in a tree. The name of the man ? Agne ! On the left photo you can see Agnestad churchruin, and in the background Ålleberg - the findingplace of the collar below....
